This is one of the beautiful mosaics at the Mosaics Museum,
just below the Blue Mosque complex. This and many other mosaics are what remain
of the Great Palace of the Byzantine Emperors. At the empire's height, these
mosaics covered hundreds of rooms inside the palace.
